ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Engineering Associate, EPC will play a key role in leading out project initiatives and supporting the EPC Management for our Bitcoin mining and HPC operations and site development. In this position, you will take charge of strategic project planning and execution, overseeing one or more projects simultaneously and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will also need to utilize your leadership skills to foster a collaborative work environment and guide junior associates, while playing a key role in external stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives across the company.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic engineering project and product plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  Communicate directly to and provide support for the Director of Engineering EPC and management
• Provide leadership and training to the EPC team, offering guidance and mentorship to junior associates.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth.
• Assist with budgeting, estimating, resource optimization, and timeline scheduling
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers.
• Support negotiations for contracts and perform agreement analyses, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to achieve seamless project integration.
• Foster effective communication channels to enhance team synergy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across EPC processes and project management through data analysis and other quantitative methods
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Generate comprehensive project reports for executive review, highlighting key milestones and potential areas for improvement.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 2-3 years of engineering project and product  management experience, construction or commercial real estate preferred
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align projects with organizational objectives.
• Google suite proficient
• Interest in Bitcoin/Crypto preferred
• Comfortable with traveling to project locations across North America.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Must pass a motor vehicle check

ABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is in office at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida with business travel as needed, including relocating for months at a time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
