ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Electrician, you'll be the backbone of our facility’s electrical systems. Reporting to the Facility Operations Manager, your role is critical to keeping our mining operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for performing installation, repair, and maintenance tasks, while adhering to important safety protocols and national electrical codes.

We are looking to hire an experienced and certified Electrician to complete various projects and tasks as needed at the facility and maintain our day to day operational excellence. This is an essential role in our rapidly expanding infrastructure.

*You must be within a 1HR commute from the site or willing to relocate. 

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain electrical systems, including fuses, breakers, lighting, and LV wiring
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure system functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and parts
• Complete required documentation for repairs and maintenance
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes and national standards
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper and safe operations
• Assist in managing third party contractors
• On call electrician for our facility, 24/7 
• Assist with all installments/removals 
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• And other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and certifications in safely installing, maintaining, and enhancing LV electrical systems and components. HV experience is great to have, but not required. Ability to be a problem solver, diligent, hard worker, team player, and demonstrate flexibility. This is an exciting company that is experiencing amazing growth at a rapid pace. 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Electrician Journeyman License in the state of employment
• Must have high voltage experience
• Must have up to date certifications for role 
• 3-5 years of electrical experience
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program required
• Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision 
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus+
