ABOUT THE ROLE​​

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented leader for a Manager of Development role. At Hut 8, developers are responsible for executing the company's strategy and advancing projects and/or portfolios of digital infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and project management skills while having development experience in ERCOT, MISO, PJM, SPP, and/or CAISO. As a Manager, Corporate Development, you will collaborate with the team on key initiatives including acquisitions, site development, contract negotiations, and project management. You will assist in spearheading the strategic vision for the company, and be an integral member of the Development team working out of our corporate headquarters, downtown in the heart of Miami, Florida. ​​

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:​​

• Manage and advance the project development lifecycle from site identification to financial close for multiple projects ​
• Control project schedules, identifying and effectively navigate risks, maintain budgets​
• Collaborate with legal counsel to draft and review material project documents​
• Conduct high-level permitting and site diligence, manage interconnection/transmission process ​
• Identify business opportunities, form relationships with key utilities and other potential counterparties, and work with the Corporate Development team to assess the viability of project opportunities​

ABOUT YOU​

• Strong understanding of the development cycle of data centers, battery storage, solar and/or wind projects. ​
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively​
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data handling and analysis​
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment​
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines​
• Previous experience in data center or energy infrastructure development ​
• Previous client-facing experience ​
